Resource Center Home

If you're upgrading to Smart Operations Solution 9.3.1 SP1 or later, you will need to perform the steps as outlined below.

Before You Begin: You will first need to perform the 9.3.1 SP1 upgrade steps for Responder. This may include running batch scripts to upgrade Responder configuration files and scripts to upgrade Responder database tables.

Smart Operations

Telvent PubSub

The 9.3.1 SP1 release supports the 7.5.12 (Columbia) version of OASyS on the Responder Server. Earlier versions of PubSub are not supported on the Responder Server. To upgrade your Responder Server to OASyS 7.5.12, you will first need to remove the existing version, then implement the new version.

Earlier 7.5 versions of OASyS are supported on the OASyS server.

OASyS Integration

Because upgrading to OASyS 7.5.12 requires removing all traces of the previous version, you will need to re-configure the OASyS integration on the Responder server. You will NOT need to re-create the Smart Grid tables. Use the steps below to configure OASyS.

The services configuration files installed with Responder server will likely not need to be reconfigured. However it is a wise idea to verify that they are properly configured. These files include: Responder Data Services, Responder Query Services and Smart Grid Listener Service.

DMS Integration

Because upgrading to OASyS 7.5.12 requires removing all traces of the previous version, you will need to re-configure the DMS integration on the Responder server. You will NOT need to re-create the Smart Grid tables. Use the steps below to configure OASyS.

The Smart Grid Listener Services configuration file installed with Responder server will likely not need to be reconfigured. However it is a wise idea to verify that it is properly configured.
