Responder server and client machines require copies of files from the RCS server. Copy the following before continuing with the install. If your Responder server and client are installed on the same machine, this needs to be done only once.
- Copy the following directory from the RCS server: C:\TelventInstall and paste the TelventInstall folder to the C:\ drive. If a TelventInstall folder already exists at this location on the Responder client and/or server machine, you may wish to rename it before copying the new version. You may also overwrite it.
- Depending on the version installed on your OASyS server, you will need to either copy the DAL directory from the OASyS server or create it using the DAL Configuration Editor.
- Matching Versions: If you have the same version of OASyS DNA on the OASyS server and the Responder Server (version 7.5.12), then you will need to copy the following directory from the RCS server: C:\Program Files (x86)\Telvent\config\DAL and paste the DAL folder to Program Files\Telvent\config on the client machine. If a DAL folder already exists at this location on the client machine, you may wish to rename it before copying the new version. You may also overwrite it.
- Mismatched Versions: If you have a version other than 7.5.12 on the OASyS server, then copying the DAL directory may cause problems. Instead, refer to the Configure DAL page to use the DAL Configuration Editor.
