OASyS provides telemetry data for devices in the field. Responder can be integrated with OASyS and receive device operation data from the field. For example, if a device is Opened in the field, the Responder Listener relays this information from OASyS to Responder Data Services. If the incident is resolved in Responder and the device Closed, OASyS is notified via the Real-Time Framework installed with Responder Server.

You can install all of OASyS on the client machine using the instructions provided by OASyS, or you can install only the OASyS DAL Client. This is the minimum configuration required to integrate with Responder. Follow the steps below to install the OASyS DAL Client integration.

The final step above, Enable Pipeline Rules, is also part of the Network Adapter configuration. If you are configuring Network Adapter as well, this step can be done once during the OASyS configuration or the Network Adapter configuration.

Optional Configurations:

The following configuration is optional. However for the functionality discussed below, you MUST do the configuration for it.
