Reports

Version: 10.2.1d and 10.2.1d SP2

Resource Center Home

The Reports menu option allows you to view reports, adjust print options, and print to file or a printer. In Overhead Design Analysis (OHDA), select File > Reports to display the Print Preview window. The following reports are available:

If you do not initially see Print and Cancel buttons you must resize the height of the Print Preview window until the buttons come into view.
Before accessing Print Preview, you may want to edit the values under File > Edit Default Load Cases because the reports will display data based on the currently selected load case.

Printing Quick Steps

Follow these steps to print reports from OHDA:

  1. In OHDA, select File > Reports to display the Print Preview window.
  2. Select a Report Type from the drop-down menu: Profile Report, Per Location Report, or Stringing Chart.

If any violations exist in the scenario, the phrase "This design contains violations" is output in red just below the title on both the Profile and Per Location reports.

  3. Select a physical printer or print to file to save reports as a PDF or XPS document.
  4. Set page size and orientation.
  5. Click Print.
  6. Provide file name and save location if printing to a file. Click OK.

Print Preview

The Print Preview window is divided into two panes. The left pane changes based on the type of report selected. The right side of the window is the preview pane.

Report Pane

Use the Report Type drop-down list to choose one of three reports: Profile Report, Per Location Report, or Stringing Chart.

Preview Pane

The preview pane displays the selected report as it will appear once printed to file or a printer. For multipage reports, you can use your mouse wheel or the scroll bar on the right of the preview pane to scroll between pages.
