There are a variety of ways to customize Designer and Workflow Manager. This section discusses the various customizations available. The Workflow Manager Database section discusses table-driven customizations for Workflow Manager.
Designer
- Field Editors: Create custom field editors for use with Configuration Editors and Extended Data.
- Work Function Calculator: The Work Function tool allows a user to select an existing feature and replace it with a different CU. The calculator looks at the CUs assigned to a GU and - based on the CU work functions - assigns a work function to the GU. This customization allows you to determine how the GU's work function is calculated.
Workflow Manager
- Reports: Workflow Manager offers two reports for designs: Cost and Inventory. These reports maybe customized to suit your needs.
- Pluggable Controls: These controls allow you to modify the fields on the Workflow Manager tabs.
