Workflow Manager Database

The Designer installation includes a WorkflowManager.mdb. Schneider Electric strongly recommends that you use this as your Workflow Manager database and modify it using the Process Framework Administration tool rather than creating a database from scratch. The Process Framework Administration tool is discussed in the ArcFM Solution Configuration Guide. This section discusses customizations that may be made to the Workflow Manager database.
Some customizations in Workflow Manager do not require custom code. Instead they are simple table modifications to the Workflow Manager database. Many of those modifications (such as creating a new role or adding a user) can be made using the Process Framework Administration tool. See the Process Framework Administration Tool online help for more information.
The table modifications discussed in this section may not be made using the Process Framework Administration tool and affect the WorkflowManager.mdb database found in the Sample Data/Databases folder of the ArcFM Solution installation directory.
