Responder Web Server

The Responder web server hosts the web browser. Users may access the web browser to log trouble calls, access reports, and view the dashboard. You can install the necessary Web components that are described in the links below.

To configure the Responder web explorer, complete each of the steps listed below.

Enable IIS
Configure WebRemoting.config
Configure Web.config
Enable ASP.NET (Windows Server 2003 only)
Enable Message Queuing
Enable Default Document (optional)
IIS Reset
Set the Windows Firewall
Configure for 64-Machine for 32-Bit Processes (required ONLY for 64-bit machines)
Add Responder Services User
Optional Functionality

Users will access the Responder web forms to enter customer calls, report callback information, and view reports as well as the dashboard. Once configured, users can access your Responder web server in a web browser at the following address: http://<web server>/Responder/default.aspx. If, for example, your web server is named Madison, the address would be: http://Madison/Responder/default.aspx.
