Anytime you modify WebRemoting.config or the permissions associated with the Responder web browser, you must restart IIS. There are two ways to do this.

1. Right-click My Computer and select Manage.
2. Expand Services and Applications.
3. Right-click Internet Information Service and select All Tasks | Restart IIS.
4. Close the Computer Management screen when you've finished.

You may also restart IIS using a command prompt.

1. Open a command prompt.
2. Enter the following command: iisreset
3. Press Enter on the keyboard.

 

 

The Responder web application also requires access to Responder services (Data Services, Prediction Services, Archive Services). Ensure these services are running before opening the Responder web application.
