Standalone Implementation 2 (Windmil)

The Classic Implementation 1 (Windmil) and Classic Implementation 2 (Windmil with Customization) tools have been deprecated and will be removed from a future release of the product. If you need assistance for these implementations, please contact Tech Support.

This implementation provides GIS information to the analysis engine, analysis results in ArcMap, and load case data. This data flow framework is available only for MultiSpeak implementations.

For this implementation, perform the following steps:

Upgrade Network Adapter from Classic to Standalone for Windmil (optional)
- Notes for MilSoft Users
MultiSpeak Supported Attributes
Modify Transformation DTD (optional)
Modify Equipment ID
- Modify Equipment ID Format - MultiSpeak (optional)
- Default Equipment IDs - MultiSpeak

Once you've exported the data from the GIS, it will need to be reformatted for import into your analysis engine. The format and the process to reformat is dictated by your analysis engine. One option is modifying the XSL style sheet before the data is exported. We present a sample of this in the page below.
