Responder Overview > Smart Operations Solution Tools > Pending Operations |
Version: 10.1 |
Available in Responder Explorer. Requires Smart Operations Solution and DMS and/or OASYS integration.
The Pending Operations window is used only if you have configured Responder to integrate with another application such as OASyS or DMS. This dockable window displays switching operations that are pending or have timed out.
The Pending Operations window lists any switching operations that are awaiting a response from another application (e.g., OASyS). For example, a Responder dispatcher creates a switching operation in ArcMap using the Create Switching Operation tool. Responder Data Services communicates the operation to OASyS via the Real-Time Framework and places an entry in the Pending Operations window. This indicates that Responder is waiting for OASyS to operate the device according to the Switching Operation. When OASyS operates the device, it communicates the change to Responder Data Services via the Responder Listener Service. At this point the entry in the Pending Operations window turns green to indicate that the operation has been performed and is no longer pending. After a short period of time, the green entry is removed from the Pending Operations window.
When an operation is first added to the Pending Operations window, it appears black to indicate that it is waiting for a response from OASyS. After a short period of time, the entry becomes red and bold, indicating that OASyS has taken too long to respond. The user may right-click an entry and select Override Pending Operation. This stops the Responder Listener Service from waiting for a response from OASyS. Once an operation in the Pending Operations window is green or removed, the associated switching operation will be executed. Any switching operation with an entry in the Pending Operations tab may not be executed.
You can right-click an operation in the Pending Operations tab and access two tools:
