This is normal. Windmil models switches as a two-partner set. For most switches Network Adapter only exports one switch bank and lets Windmil automatically create the partner. Normally open switches – including tie switches – are the exception. For normally open switches, Network Adapter has to specify the parent on both sides, so it exports the original switch and creates a partner during the export, setting its parent section to the other side of the switch.
