Smart Grid Applications Overview > Smart Operations Solution > SOS Configuration Overview > Network Adapter > Troubleshooting Network Adapter > Troubleshooting: Do I have to populate the Customer section of the Minerville MultiSpeak Electric Distribution Data Model? |
Version: 10.1 |
No. Out of the box, Network Adapter does not use these tables. Instead, it reads Allocated Loads out of the LoadCase table and attaches them to the related features (e.g., service points or transformers) in the MultiSpeak XML. This information gets imported into the Calculated Load tab for each feature in the Windmil network. Load Allocation analysis in Windmil overwrites the data in the Calculated Load tab.
A more robust strategy for exporting load data to Windmil involves exporting Billing Account Loads from the tables in the Customer section of the data model. In Windmil, this gets imported to the Billing Load tab for each feature. Billing Load data in Windmil serves as input to Load Allocation analysis. This solution requires code.
A third option is to import Billing Load data directly from the CIS system itself into Windmil, bypassing the GIS database entirely.
