Version: 10.1 |
Network Adapter does not support the export of substation internals. Rather, the implementation must define substations in DMS manually or with the aid of custom export functionality. Thus, Network Adapter assumes that the connecting substations for a feeder exist already in DMS when the user exports a feeder from GIS to DMS. The “stitching” points connecting feeder to substation are defined with attributes in the exported CIM XML for the feeder.
For stitching at a substation downstream exit, DMS will look for a breaker with isFeederHead = true and feeder ID matching a connection point in the substation. Network Adapter automatically assigns isFeederHeader = true to a feeder head breaker during the export.
