Partitioning increases performance when processing AMI events on a number of feeders. The steps outlined on this page allow you to set the maximum number of events to retrieve for analysis.

1. Open Miner.Responder.PredictionServices.exe.config.
2. Look for the following XML.

   <add key="EventsToRetrieveWhenPartitioning" value="1000" />

3. Set the EventsToRetrieveWhenPartitioning value to the maximum number of events to be received from state services for processing by Prediction Services. This value is set to 1000 by default.
4. Save and close Miner.Responder.PredictionServices.exe.config.
