Anchors are used in conjunction with guy assemblies in Overhead Design Analysis (OHDA). The forces on an anchor that OHDA calculates are those that the attached guy applies. Because anchors are installed below ground, transverse wind load does not affect them.

Anchors can be assigned to poles on the Poles tab. On the Poles tab, select the pole where the anchor is to be attached. and click Components to do the following:

• Add an Anchor
• Edit an Anchor
• Delete an Anchor
