Responder Mobile allows a user to view and edit incidents while in the field. The Responder Mobile client is a thin application that does not require installation of any additional ArcGIS, ArcFM or Responder applications on the field machine. Field users can create incidents or receive them from the Enterprise. Once the field user is finished editing an incident in the field, he can send it back to the Enterprise where it can be managed by a Dispatcher.
After an incident has been sent to the field, a Dispatcher may not edit it by default. However, the Take Control and Give Back tools discussed in this section allow the Dispatcher to temporarily take an incident from the field users, make changes and send it back out into the field.
