Responder Overview > Implement Responder > Data Preparation > Assign Model Names |
Now you can assign the model names to the appropriate object classes and fields. The following table describes the model names to be assigned. Below the table is a sample configuration. Yours may vary.
Class Model Names:
Model Name
Assign To:
FDRMGRLOADPOINT
Responder's tracing functionality uses this model name to identify loadpoints.
Assign this model name to the device feature class to which customers may be associated and a load point may be assigned. For example, service points, transformers, etc. Assign this model name to one feature class only.
This model name may also be assigned as a field model name to an integer field. This is useful when in your network service points are represented in some cases and in other cases customers are tied directly to a transformer. The field is set manually as follows: 1=feature is a loadpoint; 0=feature is not a loadpoint
This model name may have been assigned during Feeder Manager configuration. If not, assign it while configuring Responder and be sure to re-initialize trace weights.
Responder requires that the feature class with the FDRMGRLOADPOINT model name (or field model name) have a Phase Designation field with the PHASEDESIGNATION field model name assigned.
RXFACILITY
Assign this model name to any equipment feature classes that may be used by Responder. Any features or devices that have the RXINCIDENTDEVICE, RXINCIDENTFEATURE, or RXSWITCHABLEDEVICE model names assigned should have this model name assigned as well.
RXHAZARD
Assign this model name to any equipment feature classes on which hazards may exist.
RXINCIDENTDEVICE
Assign this model name to all network devices on which an incident can be placed using the Create Fault tool. For example, service points, transformers, switches, fuses, etc.
Switch Order Requests also require this model name assigned to the Identify Tool Object Class Model Name domain. See Assign Switch Order Map Model Names for more information. RXINCIDENTFEATURE
Assign this model name to all non-network features on which an incident can be placed using the Create Non-Electric Incident tool. For example, support structures.
Switch Order Requests also require this model name assigned to the Identify Tool Object Class Model Name domain. See Assign Switch Order Map Model Names for more information. RXJUMPERS
Optional. Assign this model name to the RX_JUMPERS_DISPLAY line feature class.
RXLINEDISPLAY
Optional. Assign this model name to the feature class that will designate de-energized (or abnormally energized) lines on the map. This is the feature class created in the Responder Line Display step. This is used by the display de-energized feeders functionality.
RXREGION
Assign this model name to the polygon feature class that represents regions. Information about creating the Region feature class is available on the Configure Regions page.
RXSWITCHABLEDEVICE
Assign this model name to devices that may be switched.
RXUSERDEFINED
Assign this model name to any feature class that can be assigned to the Device Information or Perform Repairs operations in a switching order using the Select From Map tool or the Category field from the Edit window. Even if this model name is not assigned, the user can assign a device to this operation using other methods (e.g., Assign from Previous). The Select From Map tool - when selected on the Device Information or Perform Repairs operations - will snap to any features with this model name assigned.
Field Model Names
Field Model Name
Assign To:
FACILITYID
Optional. This optional field model name allows any mention of Facility ID in Responder Explorer or Archive Explorer to appear with the field this model name is assigned to. For example, the Responder Explorer grid displays this field in the Incident Device rows, and it also appears on the Create Switching Operation dialog. This also controls the display field for selected devices in a Switch Order or Switch Order Request.
You can assign this model name once per feature class.
This is an ArcFM model name that Responder utilizes as well.
FDRMGRGANGOPERATED
Optional. This optional field model name allows identification of junction features in a feature class that are "Gang Operated," or ones where the phases should all be operated at the same time.
Assigning this field model name to a text field on a feature class causes Feeder Manager to examine the field when running autoupdaters and initializing electric trace weights. A value of "Y" or "y" will cause Feeder Manager to set the GangOperated bit in the MMElectricTraceWeight to 1 (indicating it IS gang operated), all other values will leave the GangOperated bit set to 0 (NOT gang operated). Any value in this field other than Y (e.g., 1) is interpreted as NOT gang operated.
Currently, this field model name is used by Responder prediction when examining protective devices.
Future functionality may use this model name more extensively. To pre-configure for future releases, you may assign this model name to any device that has its phases operated concurrently, including manually and automatically operated switches, and protective devices such as circuit breakers and fuses.
RXADDRESS
Optional. Assign this model name to any feature class that may be used by Responder. Any field for a feature, device, or hazard that you assign the RXADDRESS model name to will be used as the address.
RXCONDUCTORFCID
Optional. This model name is assigned to the CONDUCTORFCID field on the RxLineDisplay feature class. This field holds the ID of the conductor that is de-energized. This is used by the display de-energized feeders functionality.
RXRESPONSIBLEDEVICEFCID
Optional. This model name is assigned to the RxFCID field on the RxLineDisplay feature class. This field holds the Feature Class ID of the device responsible for this line display record.
RXFEEDERID
Optional. This model name is assigned to the RxFeederID field on the RxLineDisplay feature class. This field holds the ID of the feeder that is de-energized. This is used by the display de-energized feeders functionality.
RXPHASE
Optional. This model name is assigned to the RxPhase field on the RxLineDisplay feature class.
RXRESPONSIBLEDEVICEOID
Optional. This model name is assigned to the RxOID field on the RxLineDisplay feature class. This field holds the Object ID of the device responsible for this line display record.
RXREGIONNAME
This field model name is assigned to the Name field on the polygon feature class that represents regions in your geodatabase.
RXRESPONSIBLEDEVICESUBID
Optional. This model name is assigned to the RxSubID field on the RxLineDisplay feature class. This field holds the Sub ID of the device responsible for this line display record, if the responsible device is a line feature. If the device is a point feature, this field will be blank.
RXRESPONSIBLEDEVICEX
Optional. This model name is assigned to the RxX field on the RxLineDisplay feature class. This field holds the X coordinate of the device responsible for this line display record, if the responsible device is a line feature that has been cut. If the device is a point feature, this field will be blank.
RXRESPONSIBLEDEVICEY
Optional. This model name is assigned to the RxY field on the RxLineDisplay feature class. This field holds the Y coordinate of the device responsible for this line display record, if the responsible device is a line feature that has been cut. If the device is a point feature, this field will be blank.
Below is a sample configuration. You may modify it (e.g., assign FDRMGRLOADPOINT to Transformer instead of ServicePoint). Feature class names are in bold and may not exactly match your data model. All model names are in all caps.
Responder will not predict to a device that does not have the FDRMGRPROTECTIVE or TRANSFORMER model name. |
