Using ArcFM Engine
Inspector (ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine)

Version: 10.2.1c and 10.2.1c SP3

Resource Center Home

Inspector requires ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine. Some of the links below work only if you have ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine installed.

The Inspector extension is available on the ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine platform and allows you to edit the non-spatial attributes for features and related objects within an edit session. It also provides all the redlining functionality of the Redliner extension. The Redliner Extension provides graphic markup (redlining) tools. An inspection session may be edited and/or redlined in the field using ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine then sent to a GIS editor on the enterprise. Inspector is meant to be used in the field to edit and delete non-spatial attributes or features.

Digital Ink: ArcFM Inspector Extension supports graphics created with Digital Ink. More information about the Ink tools provided with ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine is available in the ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine online documentation (Digital Ink and Gestures section).

Inspector requires that Mobile and all of its required databases be configured (see ArcFM Solution Configuration Guide). This section describes the tools provided by the Inspector extension.

The Inspector extension also provides access to the Redliner extension tools (see ArcFM Engine help for more information).
