Open New Edit Session

In ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine, click the Open New Edit Session 
button on the Session Manager toolbar. This creates a new edit session and opens it in ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine. With an edit session open, the Inspector tool is enabled. You may begin inspector or placing graphics immediately. When it's created, the session is named using the current user's display name and the current date and time. This information may be modified in Session Manager.
