ArcFM Engine Configuration Guide
Designer Staker Overview

Version: 10.1

Resource Center Home

Designer Staker incorporates staking sheets into the ArcFM Solution work flow. Designer Staker can be used in the enterprise office or in the field. For example, users in the field can mark up a staking sheet and then send it to the enterprise office. Users at the enterprise office can then use Workflow Manager to receive the staking sheet. An easy-to-use wizard walks the user through creating the assemblies the stakers will need.

Before You Begin

Before configuring Designer Staker, review the following prerequisites.

Configuring Designer Staker

Perform the following steps to configure Designer Staker. These steps include the configuration necessary for Geodatabase Replication to maintain the backdrop database as well as perform send/receive.

STEP 3: Create Backdrop Database

Perform the following steps ONLY if you do not have a login database.

If you elect to use the Mobile Synchronizer for sending/receiving, then you may still want to review the Create Replicas step in case you wish to use Geodatabase Replication to maintain your backdrop database in the field.
