ArcFM Server Overview

Version: 10.6.1a

Resource Center Home

ArcFM Server provides the objects necessary to develop a custom web application that allows your users to view and edit ArcFM data using a web interface. ArcFM Server provides the server-side component and access to the map service. ArcFM for Silverlight provides a web application that end users can use to view and navigate GIS data as well as a Software Developer Kit (SDK) that developers can use to create custom web applications.

Server-side customizations are hosted on the same machine as ArcFM Server. This section outlines the customizations available on ArcFM Server.

Enable Licensing

This topic outlines how to enable or disable ArcFM Server licensing for map services.

REST API

The ArcFM Server REST API provides a simple, open Web interface to services hosted by ArcGIS for Server. This section discusses how to use REST to access specific information in the geodatabase.

Customizing With C#

Use the SOAP API if you're developing a custom ArcFM Server web application in a non-.NET environment (e.g., Flex, Java) and without the ArcFM for Silverlight SDK.
