Fiber Manager Configuration > Configure/Upgrade Circuit Manager |
Circuit healing functionality, added in Fiber Manager 10.1, allows Fiber Manager to update a circuit for reflecting edits to the fiber network.
The header information responsible for enabling automatic circuit healing comprises three fields on the F_CIRCUIT table, which must have the FIBERCIRCUITTABLE class model name assigned. The ArcFM Database Upgrade Tool automatically adds the following fields to your F_CIRCUIT table if they do not exist:
We recommend turning off visibility of the FiberCircuitHeaderClass, FiberCircuitHeaderGlobalID, and FiberCircuitTraceStyle fields.
If you have used circuit functionality in versions prior to 10.2.1a, you will need to migrate your circuits. Existing circuit information, from releases prior to 10.2.1a, must be migrated via the Fiber Circuit Upgrade Tool, which is included in the Fiber Manager 10.2.1a installer. For details regarding circuit migration, refer to the Fiber Circuit Upgrade Tool PDF on exchange.
If you are migrating from a previous version of Fiber Manager (10.2.1 and prior), the F_CIRCUITCOMPONENT table must be added to the geodatabase. If you are migrating from a version prior to 10.1, the three FiberCircuitHeader fields must be added to the F_CIRCUIT table. The ArcFM Database Upgrade Tool automatically adds these fields.
Follow these steps to add the table F_CIRCUITCOMPONENT to your geodatabase and to enable the new circuit functionality:
