Create a New Map Set

Version: 10.2.1c and 10.2.1c SP3

Resource Center Home

A map set is a collection of map elements, stored display, and printing options that can be saved and referenced when plotting maps. You may add a map set to an existing map book or create a new map book in which to add the new map set.

  1. In the Map Book Editor, right-click a map book and select Create Map Set.
  2. Enter a Title and Description, and click Apply to save changes.

  3. Click the Map Book Editor's Options tab to set the map set's display and scale settings.

If a user adds a large number (i.e., 10,000 or more) of map grids to a map set, Map Production's performance will be slowed.
