Similar to the Highlight tool, the Auto Highlight feature allows you to see selected features highlighted on the map, but Auto Highlight makes that happen with minimal mouse clicks.
On the ArcFM Options > General Tab, in the Highlight section, check the box to enable Auto Highlight. With this tool enabled, features will be highlighted in the map when selected in numerous trees in ArcFM. This tool shares settings with the Highlight tool's right-click functionality (size and color) to maintain consistency. Auto Highlight also works when you navigate the tree with your keyboard. Expanding or collapsing a node will not highlight the feature.
Auto Highlight has been implemented in the ArcFM Identify Tool; ArcFM Locator; and the Selection, Design, and QA/QC Tabs of the Attribute Editor.
