The SpliceType domain provides the values in the Splice Type field in Fiber User Settings, Fiber System Settings, and Connection Manager. This domain must be spelled and capitalized exactly as shown.

Add Domain to Geodatabase

Right-click the name of the geodatabase and select Properties.
Click the Domains tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the domains list.
In the empty row, type the domain name in the Domain Name field.
Ensure that the correct Field Type is selected under Domain Properties.
If additional domains need included, click Apply after adding each one.
Click OK.

Split Policy: Default Value
Merge Policy: Default Value

Coded Values: Add the coded values that make sense for your business, e.g., Continuous, Fusion, Glue, Mechanical

If the SpliceType domain already exists in the geodatabase, it must NOT be renamed in any way. It must be spelled and capitalized exactly as shown.
