Classic Implementation 1 (Windmil)

This is the out-of-the-box implementation for MultiSpeak. It requires that your data fit the MultiSpeak-Minerville data model. Feeder information is exported out of the geodatabase, converted to the MultiSpeak format, then imported into your engineering analysis engine.

All features and attributes in the MultiSpeak-Minerville data model may be imported into the analysis engine.
The out-of-the-box implementation requires little (if any) custom code.
This implementation is available only if your data fits the MultiSpeak-Minerville data model.
Analysis may not be executed from Network Adapter.

This implementation requires that you populate the load case table (LoadCase) in your geodatabase. Load data is sent to your engineering analysis engine along with the selected feeder information. Analysis results may not be viewed in ArcMap.

To implement Implementation 3 with MultiSpeak, perform the following implementation steps. To use this implementation, your data format must match the Minerville-MultiSpeak data model.

Once you've exported the data from the GIS, it will need to be imported into your analysis engine. The format and the process to reformat is dictated by your analysis engine. One option is modifying the XSL style sheet before the data is exported. The pages below discuss this option.
