If Responder functionality that used to be fast has slowed to an unbearable pace, you may have an overloaded message queue. This problem usually indicates that the rxserver_ack queue has become full of messages. To clean up this message queue and restore your fast-paced Responder, follow these steps:
Right-click My Computer and select Manage.
Browse to Services and Applications | Message Queuing | Private Queues | rxserver_ack.
Expand rxserver_ack to display Queue Messages and Journal Messages.
Select Queue Messages. The messages in this queue are displayed in the right-side window.
Right-click Queue Messages and select All Tasks | Purge to clear out the messages.
