Once you have an incident created, you can edit the fault devices, location features, and/or hazards assigned to it. This section discusses the ways you can edit the various types of devices and features within an incident. This section also discusses the Devices tab which allows you to view all incident devices in a single interface.
Various types of features can be assigned to an incident:
- Electric Devices: These are features that are normally connected to the electric network. All electric devices associated with incidents are displayed on the Devices tab in Responder Explorer. Electric devices may also be referred to as electric features.
- Non-Electric Devices: These are features that are normally NOT connected to the electric network (e.g., poles). Non-electric devices assigned to incidents do NOT appear on the Devices tab. Non-electric devices may also be referred to as location features.
- Hazards: A hazard indicates a problem on an electric or non-electric device. For example, you may place a broken pole hazard on a pole. A hazard doesn't correspond to a feature in the geodatabase, but rather represents a problem at the location of the feature to which it is assigned.
