If you get a Communication Warning that indicates a PubSub communication problem, simply click Refresh on the Responder Explorer toolbar. You may need to first click Dismiss on the warning message. This message indicates that Responder's internal communication has momentarily disconnected before reconnecting and messages may have been received out of order. Refresh ensures you have complete and accurate data and removes the flashing red error in the status bar. The yellow status indicator will revert back to green. This may occur in Archive Explorer as well as Responder Explorer.
