Open MXD

This tool allows you to open an existing map document (.mxd).

Select File > Open MXD.
Browse to a file with an .mxd extension and click Open.

The file will be opened and the data displayed in the selected map display tab. If you don't wish to replace the data currently in your map display, add a new tab and select it before opening an .mxd file.

Broken Data Sources

Broken data sources are indicated by no graphic representation in the map display. If you open a stored display that has broken data sources, they must be re-connected in ArcMap. ArcFM Viewer does not allow the user to re-connect the data sources.
