This tab allows you to easily check out an ArcGIS Network Analyst Extension license. If you're using the Direction Search tool with a geodatabase, this license is necessary. If you're using the Direction Search tool with StreetMap data, this option must be unchecked.
This option is enabled only if you have a valid ArcGIS Network Analyst license. Ensure you have a valid license before attempting to use Network Analyst with the Direction Search tool.
