You can send event logs to Telvent support to help troubleshoot problems. Event logging is always enabled. The steps below describe how to access the event log.
For Windows 7
- Click Start and type Event Viewer in the search bar. Click Event Viewer in the list.
- In the Event Viewer, expand Application and Services Logs in the tree on the left.
- Select Miner from the list.
- Click Action > Save All Events As and select a location to store the file.
- Provide that file to Telvent Support
For Windows 2000 or XP
- On a Windows 2000 or XP machine, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > AdministrativeTools > Event Viewer.
- In the Event Viewer, select Application Log under the Event Viewer (Local) tree.
- Click Action > Save Log File As and save this file to your local machine.
- Zip this file and go to the Telvent Support website for additional information.
For Windows NT
- On a Windows NT machine, click Start > Programs > Administrative Tools (Common) > Event Viewer. Event log files are also stored at C:\WINNT\system32\config\AppEvent.Evt.
- In the Event Viewer, select the Log menu and then select the Application option.
- Go to Log\Save As and save this file to your local machine.
- Zip this file and go to the Telvent Support website for additional information.
