ElectricTraceHandler is the coarse-grained object for electric traces.

Electric Trace Options

The following tables describe the trace options for all electric traces as well as those specific only to certain traces.

All Electric Traces

These options can be set for any of the electric tracing operations. You may also use the generic trace options.

Trace Option

Default Value

Description

PhasesToTrace

mmPhasesToTrace.
mmPTT_Any

This option may contain any value in the mmPhasesToTrace enumeration.

RespectConductorPhasing True

If this is set to true then the trace respects the phasing on the conductors. If this is set to false tracing does not respect conductor phasing.

RespectEsriBarriers True

If this is set to True the trace will respect any barriers set in the trace using Esri’s tracing tools. If this is set to false the trace will disregard any barriers set using the Esri tracing tools.

UseFeederManagerCircuitSources True

Only in very specific (and rare) scenarios would a user want to trace without regarding Feeder Manager. This should always be set to true.

Electric Protective Device Trace Options

These trace options are specific to Electric Protective Device Traces.

Trace Option

Default Value

Description

ProtectiveDeviceClassIDs An empty integer array

This contains an integer array of the classIDs for the protective devices to be included in the protective device trace.

UseFeederManagerProtectiveDevices false This option indicates whether to consider Feeder Manager protective devices while tracing. By default this value is set to False.

There are currently no additional trace options for the remaining electric traces.
