Switch Order Requests

The Responder web browser provides a Switch Order Requests section that allows users to initiate a request for a Switch Order. If you want to add specific devices to a Switching Order Request, you will need to view a map document. In order to utilize the map view when creating requests, two model names need added to the Identify Tool Object Class Model Name domain.

Customization

The following optional sections can help you further customize Switch Order Requests:

Add custom fields, domains, and permissions
Set halo color
Set client-side visibility
Set scale range
Limit locate results
Create searchable feature classes

If a user assigns a Switch Order Request to an incident while the SOR is open on the web, the SOR can still be edited. To trigger an automatic refresh of the dialog to prevent editing, add the following to the AppSettings section of web.config:

The value format is HH:MM:SS.

The default is to not issue an automatic refresh. Also, a refresh does not trigger while a user is creating or editing an SOR.
