ArcFM Desktop Overview > Network Adapter Overview > Network Adapter for DMS v3 (CIM) |
You can configure Network Adapter to work with the Common Information Model (CIM). Network Adapter provides DMS with network model information from the GIS database. Network Adapter exports feeders from an ArcFM geodatabase to a CIM-compliant XML for import into DMS.

Exporting De-Energized Features If you're attempting to export de-energized features that may be energized by multiple feeders, the export results may not be what you expect. De-energized features with multiple possible features will always be exported only with the feeder that has the lowest FeederID value (the first value that occurs alpha-numerically). For example, a section of de-energized features may be energized by feeders 4, 9, and 12. You will NOT see these de-energized features in an export of feeders 9 or 12. You will see these de-energized features only when exporting feeder 4. |
