Using Responder
Confirm Incident Device

Version: 10.2.1c and 10.2.1c SP3

Available in Responder Explorer.

When a crew is dispatched to repair a device suspected outage, they may call in to confirm that the device is indeed inoperable. Responder Explorer allows you to confirm by right-clicking either the incident or the feature.

Quick Steps

Confirm

  1. Right-click incident or incident device.
  2. Select Confirm.
  1. Right-click an incident or an incident device (electric or non-network) and select Confirm. If you confirm an incident, any features associated with it will be confirmed as well. Also, if all features associated with an incident are confirmed, the incident is confirmed as well.
  2. The incident or feature is confirmed automatically.
  3. If Confirm is not available on an incident or feature, it may already be confirmed.

Incidents may also be confirmed on the Edit Incident form by selecting Yes in the Confirmed field. Incidents may NOT be unconfirmed. If you unconfirm all devices on the incident, the incident will be set to Probable.
