Change Hazard

Available in Responder Explorer.

Change Hazard allows the user to move the location of a hazard, regardless of its status (confirmed, unconfirmed). The hazard is removed from the original feature and replaced on the feature specified by the user.

Quick Steps

Change Hazard

  1. Right-click hazard.
  2. Select Change Hazard.
  3. In ArcMap, click a feature.
  4. Modify the Edit Hazard window.
  5. Click OK.
  1. Right-click a hazard and select Change Hazard.
  2. In ArcMap, the cursor changes:
  3. Click a feature to replace the feature currently selected in the incident.
  4. You may modify the following fields on the Edit Hazard window: Hazard Type, Wire Owner, Remarks and the Public Safety fields.
  5. Click OK to save changes and dismiss the form.

Changing a fault may affect prediction.
