Use Feeder ID Instead of Feeder Name

Beginning with version 10.2.1, Responder uses Feeder Name to label all feeders in the user interface and reports. You can change the defualt behavior to have Responder label feeders with Feeder ID instead by editing each of the following configuration files:

The default location for each of these files is C:\Program Files (x86)\Miner and Miner\Responder\Server.

 

Editing a configuration file

  1. Open one of the configuration files in a text editor like Notepad.
  2. Find the <appSettings> element in the file.
  3. Add the following tag inside <appSettings>: <add key="UseFeederName" value="false" />
  4. Save the file and repeat steps for the remaining files.

Setting the UseFeederName key to false mid-year could cause oddities in annual reporting where feeders are reported against both Feeder Name before the key being set, and Feeder ID after.
