Smart Grid Applications Overview > Network Adapter > Troubleshooting Network Adapter > Troubleshooting: Why are some of my tie switches disconnected after importing into WindMil? |
This is expected. In the case of Feeder Manager 1.0, tie switches have both FeederID and FeederID2 populated. In the case of Feeder Manager 2.0, tie devices have multiple values in the FeederIDs field. Either way, the feature belongs to both feeders and has a parent section in each. WindMil models switches as a set of two partner switches. If you export one feeder or the other, but not both, Network Adapter still exports both partners. One of the two partners will be disconnected until you bring in the other feeder. After that, it will no longer be disconnected.
