Network Adapter - Create Feature Classes

Network Adapter uses the following feature classes and tables when exporting to DMS. Some classes and attributes were added during Feeder Manager configuration. Some attributes were NOT added earlier and must be added. Ensure the following feature and object classes exist in your database with the displayed attributes and assigned domains before continuing to the next step.

Fields required by DMS are indicated in bold. Note that - with the exception of the CatalogID field - these fields must exist AND be populated with a valid value. The CatalogID field will be populated with a default value if it is Null.

Feature class and field names are displayed as they appear in the standard data models (Electric Distribution/MultiSpeak).

 

BreakerUnit/DynamicProtectiveDeviceUnit 

If your geodatabase does not include a BreakerUnit table, you will need to add the PhaseDesignation/PhasingCode and CatalogID fields to the CircuitSource/Source table.

Alternately, you can assign the field model name to multiple fields that are concatenated to create a single tap changer ID. For the fields to be concatenated in a specific order, add a numerical suffice to the field model names (e.g., TAPCHANGEREQUIPMENT1, TAPCHANGEREQUIPMENT2) and assign them to the fields in the order to concatenate them.
