The Archive Explorer configuration file (Miner.Responder.ArchiveExplorer.exe.config) is an XML file that must be edited on each client machine. Configure this file for any client machine that accesses Archive Explorer. By default, this file is installed in the Program Files(x86)\Miner and Miner\Responder\Client folder. You may edit the file by opening it in an XML application (such as XML Spy) or by opening it in a simple text editing program (such as Notepad).

1. On the client machine, browse to and open Miner.Responder.ArchiveExplorer.exe.config.
2. Look for the following XML:

    <channels>
      <channel ref="msmq" ComputerName="ServerName" />
    </channels>

3. Modify the ComputerName value to match the name of the machine running Archive Services. If you're running the Archive services and client on the same machine, this value can be ".".  This configures the client machine to point to the correct Responder server.
4. Save and close Miner.Responder.ArchiveExplorer.exe.config.
