Fiber Manager > Fiber Manager Reporting > Glass Report |
Use the glass report to summarize characteristics of fiber optic cables in the fiber optic system network. The report includes information on the total distance (in map units) of underground and overhead fiber optic cables, total distance (in map units) of various cable types, the total distance (in map units) of cables by fiber count, and a total length of glass in transition points. The report will also include a list of items that exist in the network but have no value in the glass segment length field.
A glass report is often run on selected set of features derived from a Fiber trace, a Possible Paths trace, or any other selection you make. If no selected set exists, the glass report includes information on the entire network.
To generate a glass report, click the Glass Report button on the Fiber Manager toolbar. The XML report displays in your Web browser.
