Connection, light path, and fiber allocation information can be obtained by tracing the path of one or more fiber optic cables in your network. Fiber Manager provides three tools to perform fiber optic network traces.
- Perform a Fiber Trace to trace the end-to-end path of connected fibers. Tracing on a specific wavelength is supported.
- Perform an OTDR Trace to highlight a user-defined distance along a path of connected fibers.
- Perform a Possible Paths Trace to find all available paths from a user-defined starting and ending point in the fiber network.
