You can view and change editable design parameters including device offsets, electric optimization parameters, parcel grouping parameters, and conductor routing configuration parameters.

Click one of the three buttons to display the Cartographic Offsets tabbed pane, the Electric Policy Settings tabbed pane, or the Routing Bands Cartographic Offsets tabbed pane.

Cartographic Offsets

Contains parameters regulating the cartographic offset distance (in map units) for pedestals, service points, and transformers. The cartographic offset values determine where a pedestal, service point, or transformer is placed relative to a parcel.

Pedestal Offset Offset from the front lot line. A negative value offsets the pedestal to the street side of the lot line.
Service Line Offset Offset from the front lot line. A negative value offsets the service line to the street side of the lot line.
Service Point Offset Offset from the corner of the lot, using a diagonal line that extends from the corner.
Transformer Offset Offset from the front lot line. A negative value offsets the transformer to the street side of the lot line.

Electric Policy Settings

Contains parameters regulating conductor mixing, transformer loads, voltage drop and flicker allowances. determines if conductor mixing is allowed.

Conductor Type Mixing If the value is set to true, service conductors on the secondary circuit are allowed to contain a heterogeneous conductor types.
Max Transformer Load Factor A percentage value that indicates the allowable transformer overload above its labeled rating.
Max Voltage Drop Percentage A percentage value that indicates the maximum allowable voltage drop.
Max Voltage Flicker Percent A percentage value that indicates the maximum allowable voltage flicker.

Routing Bands Cartographic Offset

Contains parameters that Design Optimization uses to determine the placement of conductors relative to the parcel and the spacing between adjacent conductors.

Adjacent Conductor Spacing The spacing between adjacent conductors in a routing band.
Maximum Fanning Length The maximum length of conductors used in fanning around transformers and pedestals.
Secondary Band Maximum Offset The maximum distance between the secondary routing band edge and the closest transformer or pedestal center.
Secondary Band Minimum Offset The minimum distance between the secondary routing band edge and the closest transformer or pedestal center.
Serviceline Band Maximum Offset The maximum distance between the serviceline routing band edge and the closest transformer or pedestal center.
Serviceline Band Minimum Offset The minimum distance between the serviceline routing band edge and the closest transformer or pedestal center.
