Services connect customers to the gas distribution main either directly or through the customer meter. The yard line is the portion of the service line typically located between the meter and the property line.

GASNETWORKEDGE is used to configure gas tracing in ArcFM Viewer for ArcGIS Engine. Assign GASNETWORKEDGE to all Gas Network Edge feature classes that participate in gas tracing. The PIPE model name is used for gas and water valve isolation and cathodic protection configurations.

Service acquires properties from the GasPipe abstract class.

Subtypes: Service Line, Yard Line

Associations: None

Model Names: GASNETWORKEDGE, PIPE, SERVICE.

Attributes:

Material: long integer - Material of the GasPipe; domain values include Bare Steel, Copper, Plastic, Cast Iron, etc.

ServicePipeID: text - A unique ID for the service pipe directory pipe within the gas system. This ID is also the key of a cross-reference table for all of the gas customers associated with this service pipe. This cross-reference provides access back to customer and account data in external tables.

Status: text -Code indicating operating status of GasStation; domain values include Offline, Online, and Unknown.

SubType: long integer - Code indicating type of GasPipe; examples include Distribution Main and Service.
