Appendix > How Electric Tracing Works > Impact of Conductor Phase Designation |
ArcFM Electric Tracing follows Feeder Manager’s administrative settings when deciding whether to allow conductor phase designation values to influence continuity of phases in the electric network model. If the option to respect conductor phase designation is turned on, then any phases not supported by a given conductor will not be allowed to pass through it (e.g. a conductor with phase designation of C blocks phases A and B from passing through). If the option is turned off, then all phases that can reach a conductor from a circuit source are recognized as passing through it, without regard to its phase designation.
