GasFitting

GasFitting is an abstract class. A gas fitting is a mechanical device that connects two or more pipes. Fittings may connect similar types or sizes of pipe or dissimilar pipes. If they connect dissimilar pipe, they act as transition fittings.

ContollableFitting and NonControllableFitting derive attributes from the GasFitting abstract class.

Attributes:

Comments: text -User or designer comments.

FittingDiameter: text -Size of GasFitting, domain values include 5/8”, 1”, 6”x6”, 8”x6”, 10”, etc.

GasTraceWeight: long integer -Information used for tracing analysis; stored in a bitgate.

Hyperlink: text -Used to store a hyperlink path via standard Esri hyperlinking functionality.

InServiceDate: date -Date device was installed.

InstallationDate: date -Date of installation.

InsulatedIndicator: text -Indicates presence of insulation; domain values include Yes and No.

Manufacturer: text -Code indicating manufacturer of GasFitting; domain values include Central Fitting, duPont, Orangburg, Stockum, etc.

Material: text -The attribute on a feature that indicates the material of a feature to determine whether it will be a barrier to a cathodic protection trace; used by gas trace solvers.

Owner: text -Owner of GasFitting.

PropertyUnitCode: text -Value assigned to assets to track and classify Property Records.

Subtype: long integer -Code indicating type of GasFitting; domain values include Short Stop and Three-Way Tee.

SymbolRotation: double -Angle that dictates how the feature appears on a map.

WorkOrderID: text -Utility-defined identifier of work order.
