The Map Production tab allows you to designate a default path for map files exported and printed to file from Map Production. If you do not indicate a default path, Map Production will use the last path used for a Map Production export (or print to file functionality).
To designate a default, select the Default Path radio button and enter a path. You may click the Browse 
button to browse to a location. All map files exported or printed to file from Map Production will be saved to the path entered. To use the last path, select the Use Last Path radio button.
