Next you can import the GIS data into CYMDIST for analysis using the Vendor API component MMCymdistAPI (the CYMDIST API). The CYMDIST API accepts the transformed XML that was exported by the Analysis API. Once this data is imported into CYMDIST, you may use many of CYMDIST's tools to perform engineering analysis. The CYMDIST API extracts network data for an individual feeder or multiple feeders from the transformed XML and loads the feeder to memory in a CYMDIST study. The features are imported in downstream order from the circuit source, as required by CYMDIST. After a feeder or feeders have been loaded into memory, the CYMDIST API saves the feeders to the CYMDIST network database. Now the user can open the CYMDIST application and load the feeders for analysis. Note: Most CYMDIST API interfaces are available through the Schneider Electric CYMDIST library (MMCymdist.olb). The exception is IMMXMLData. An Implementation must also reference the CYMDIST Object Library (Cymdist.exe) in order to use these interfaces. |
