When working with both point work locations and spanned work locations, you will want to assign the ArcFM Auto Update Spanned Work Location autoupdater to the On Feature Update property of the WorkLocation feature class. Having this autoupdater set will ensure that spanned work locations have their WorkLocationId correctly set when related point location's WorkLocationId is updated.

1. In ArcCatalog, right-click the WorkLocation feature.
2. Select ArcFM Properties Manager.
3. Select the Object Info tab.
4. In the On Feature Update field, select ArcFM Auto Update Spanned Work Location from the pulldown menu. If an autoupdater is already assigned to this field, select <multiple...> and add the ArcFM Auto Update Spanned Work Location autoupdater to the Autoupdaters Selected window. Remember, the autoupdaters in this list fire in the order in which they appear.
5. Click OK.
